Spring Shoes Worth Investing In

There’s something about spring that always makes me want to reset my wardrobe, and this year I’m starting with shoes. With prices continuing to climb, I’ve been much more intentional about what I’m adding, focusing on a small edit of styles that feel both practical and polished.

I’m looking for pieces I can actually live in day to day, but that still elevate an outfit without trying too hard. The kind of shoes that work across multiple looks, feel comfortable enough to reach for constantly, and don’t sit untouched in the back of the closet.
Right now, I’m gravitating toward a mix of updated classics and easy staples. Ballet flats with a fresh point of view, timeless loafers, effortless sandals, modern sneakers, and a few understated heels that still feel wearable.

BALLET FLATS
Ballet flats feel especially fresh this season, with softer shapes, subtle details, and materials that make them easy to wear every day. They’re the perfect balance of polished and practical, and work seamlessly with everything from denim to dresses.
LOAFERS
Loafers are one of those timeless staples that instantly make an outfit feel more put together. I’m drawn to pairs with clean lines and rich textures that can elevate even the simplest looks while still being incredibly comfortable.
SANDALS & EASY SLIDES
When it comes to warmer days, I always reach for simple, easy sandals that can go with everything. Neutral tones and minimal silhouettes make them feel effortless, but still intentional enough to complete a look.
SNEAKERS
This season’s sneakers feel a bit more refined, with low-profile shapes and softer color palettes. They’re an easy everyday option that still looks elevated when styled with more polished pieces.
LOW HEELS
For moments that call for something a little more dressed up, I’m leaning into low, walkable heels. They add just the right amount of polish while still being comfortable enough to wear all day or night.
